Don Pascual winery is located in the Juanicó region just an hours drive north of the beautiful port city of
Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, South America.
This
is the home of Don Pascual, Uruguay's most respected brand producing a
range of high quality wines using traditional methods combined with state of
the art wine making equipment.
In size, Don
Pascual is a boutique winery by international standards with 800 ha of
family owned vineyards. However we are market leader
in domestic sales in Uruguay and currently exporting to 27 countries world wide.
In
1996 the company formed a joint venture with French winery Château Pape-Clément
of Bordeaux. This has ensured the production of exceptional quality
wines taking many prestigious medals worldwide.
These
awards include
Gold and
Silver Medals in France in 2006 for "Methode
Champenoise" - an incredible achievement.
Don
Pascual also took out Vin Italy's Great Gold Medal for its premium
Preludio Red. This was the first time that a non - French or
Italian wine had won the Vin Italy Great Gold Medal!
At
